I've been nominated for a 2008 Meteor Award here on The Jam!
Not quite sure how we managed to blag that one but somehow we have...
Now that I've been nominated, I'm under a lot of damn bloody pressure to win!!! :-)
This is where I NEED YOU LOT!
If you think we should be lucky enough to win it.. then here's where you can vote online.
http://meteormusicawards.meteor.ie/nominees.aspx
If you just click on regional DJ on Mark Noble you can vote that way.
Otherwise you can text VOTE RDJ 5 to 085 711 4444 and that way costs 9c per vote...
Thanks for your support!!!!!

Yo...
Haven't updated this in a few days.. finding the time sounds like a terrible excuse but I am just so busy these days :-(
I DID manage to find time to get a coffee this morning and with Halloween over, it seems Christmas is well and truly here. Starbucks have transformed their new outlet in Ballsbridge overnight to pictures of red and Christmas everywhere you look - even the cups.. ! I'm not gonna mention the Smyth's Toys ad I heard today which says they are now open 'til 11 every night!!!

If you're going to any of the Big Top gigs I reckon you are in for a great night but just in case you haven't seen the size of the thing...........

Croker last night...
If you've ever been to an Ireland game in the good old days, you'll know 'Rockin' All Over The World' is played after a victory.. Last night when the final whistle went, 'Chasing Cars' started to pump out over a subdued Croke Park and I can't think of a more suitable song to end the match.
Didn't take part in the booing at all, don't think it was right to be honest and the "get Staunton out" chants made me feel like I was sitting somewhere in the UK at a Second Division match and a load of "fans" who don't know better following the chant like sheep.
What next for Ireland?
Here's a couple of pictures I took from my seat on the Hill last night, pre match I might add when the atmosphere was a fair bit better :-)
