Don't forget, May 17th, it's a Sat night and we're having a comedy gig in Vicar St. Some of the best comedians we have seen in Ireland over the last few years... If you're a fan of The Panel on RTE, you'll want to go to FM104's next gig...

FM104's The Gig - what a night!!

And thanks to all of you who headed along to make it such a great night for all involved.... free bars are a curse, that's the only thing I will say!!!
I've just realised how much I miss my Nokia N95 when I look at these crappy Blackberry pics but you get the gist!!
Thanks to all the bands... Aslan, Coronas, Blizzards, Television Room, Delorentos and Keith and Katherine who all gave us an incredible show of support for Temple Street too.

15,000 quid??!!

Ultimate gaming experience
The ultimate in video gaming has arrived - but at more than £15,000 it comes in a bit dearer than a PS3 or Xbox.
The VirtuSphere is like an oversized hamster's exercise ball that immerses the user in a 3D virtual reality world.
Players don a motion-tracking headset to project the visuals and then they are ready to begin virtual exploration.
They can run, jump, roll, or crawl over virtually unlimited distances without encountering real world obstacles.
The large hollow sphere sits on rollers allowing it to rotate through 360 degrees and move freely in any direction - without actually going anywhere at all.
The Washington-based manufacturers describe it as the ultimate computer games peripheral, but say it could also be used as a unique exercise treadmill or for simulation exercises.
Systems are made to client specifications, with customers so far including military and law enforcement organisations, as well as entertainment companies.
VirtuSphere has already been used by the Russian Tourism Authorities to let people walk through the Red Square and the Kremlin.
All weekend... we have a brand new Nintendo Wii to giveaway and so you won't be sitting there looking at it, we've thrown in some cool games too.....
Just tune in to win!!

What about this??

Student gets rich staying in bed
A Dutch student has come up with the ultimate way of making easy money - by staying in bed.

Yde Van Deutekom, 22, from Zoetermeer, is selling advertising on a website featuring a webcam showing him in bed.
So far, he has been in bed for 21 days and has had more than £3,500 paid into his bank account, reports GVA.
Mr Van Deutekom said: "Sleeping is just a hobby of me, and it is the only thing I'm very good at. Everyone is asking what I want to do with me life, but what I really want to do is sleep.
"I stay in bed all day, except for taking a shower, going to the bathroom and making something to eat. That's all I want to do. And I want to stay in bed until I'm very rich."
More than 450,000 people have visited his website - www.slapendrijk.nl.

Hairiest man seeks new love
The world's hairiest man is looking for a new love on the internet after breaking up with his girlfriend.
Yu Zhenhuan, recognised in 2002 as the world's hairiest man by the Guinness Book of Records, is using an online dating agency.
"I was amazed to see his picture there, since I'd been hearing he was going to get married soon. So I called the media," says the person who broke the story, and who wants to remain anonymous.
Yu, 29, confirmed: "We got to know each other through the internet, and had been seeing each other for three years. Unfortunately our relationship has come to an end."
And he added: "My whole body is covered with hair, and my parents are worried I won't be able to find a wife. Many girls are shocked when they see me in person.

Yo...
Haven't updated this in a few days.. finding the time sounds like a terrible excuse but I am just so busy these days :-(
I DID manage to find time to get a coffee this morning and with Halloween over, it seems Christmas is well and truly here. Starbucks have transformed their new outlet in Ballsbridge overnight to pictures of red and Christmas everywhere you look - even the cups.. ! I'm not gonna mention the Smyth's Toys ad I heard today which says they are now open 'til 11 every night!!!

If you're going to any of the Big Top gigs I reckon you are in for a great night but just in case you haven't seen the size of the thing...........

Croker last night...
If you've ever been to an Ireland game in the good old days, you'll know 'Rockin' All Over The World' is played after a victory.. Last night when the final whistle went, 'Chasing Cars' started to pump out over a subdued Croke Park and I can't think of a more suitable song to end the match.
Didn't take part in the booing at all, don't think it was right to be honest and the "get Staunton out" chants made me feel like I was sitting somewhere in the UK at a Second Division match and a load of "fans" who don't know better following the chant like sheep.
What next for Ireland?
Here's a couple of pictures I took from my seat on the Hill last night, pre match I might add when the atmosphere was a fair bit better :-)

The second things I saw today which I thought might interest you is this t shirt one of our staff has on today. Now this t shirt is not a freebie, it was bought in a normal clothes shop but what company do you think of when you read it???!!
